Third Sector Club launch as part of the Employability Extravaganza

NUSU Third Sector Club : 'A Day in the Life Of...'

The Third Sector Forum is an initiative for students who are interested in working or volunteering in the sector. It will offer informal group meetings open to anyone at the university throughout the academic year offering insights into the diverse nature of the roles and organisations within this sector.

Over a series of events during the academic year, we would bring together students and local VCSE contacts to give a real view of what working in this field is like and how to find opportunities (occasionally bringing in a broader look at what goes on nationally/internationally too).

This will be supplemented by a social media presences where members are encouraged to share and discuss relevant (third sector) career related information, including job adverts, local events, tips on improving applications, finding opportunities, advertising relevant on campus events, useful websites, and to respond to students’ questions/comments.

Please join us for the first event on 28th February at 5.15pm in the History Room at NUSU, as part of our event series 'Employability Extravanganza'!
