This Girl Can Week

#ThisGirlCan

This Girl Can is a national campaign developed by Sport England, statistics show that less women than men take part in sport. The campaign aims to empower women and increase confidence and participation in sport, helping women to overcome the fear of joining in.

The mission is to advance gender equality through and within sport: by empowering women and girls through sport.

This year it will take place from 20th-26th November and Newcastle University will be an active supporter.
