Free bus travel for St Mary's!

Everybody loves a freebie!

Newcastle University Accommodation Services have agreed a free bus service for residents at St Marys College on a trail period for next term from Monday 16 April – Friday 15 June .

The service will operate with Stagecoach on the following basis:

Students will use their smartcard for bus travel between 08.00 – 20.00  7 days a week

Passengers in possession of a valid NU Smartcard will be permitted free travel for journeys to and from St Mary's Halls when boarding at the stops below.

En route to the City Centre / Main University Campus:

Boarding point - Fenham Hall Drive / St Mary's College (stop near to Middlewood Park access road).

Alighting point in this direction are:

Richardson Road, St Thomas Street, John Dobson Street, Newbridge Street (west), Blackett Street.

From City Centre / Main University Campus:

Boarding points - John Dobson Street, New Bridge Steet (west), Blackett Street, St Thomas Street, Richardson Road.

Alighting stop in this direction is Fenham Hall Drive / St Mary's College (stop near to Middlewood Park access road).

A zero value ticket will be issued by the driver for each journey.
