Get involved in leaving Newcastle happy at the end of term....

Over the years, universities have generated over £1.5m from items sold in local British Heart Foundation shops, proving that campuses are strong allies against heart disease.

Newcastle University Students’ Union are back again this end of term to help you ‘Leave Newcastle Happy’ when you move out of your accommodation. Your unwanted items will benefit less advantaged people in the city. Use the bag provided and drop off at one of the locations below.

You can help to keep saving lives by:

Donating – Clothes, electricals, pots and pans, cutlery, cushions (no quilts or pillows).

How? – Fill up your bag, please take as many as you need, and drop it off in one of the donation banks located at:

PEC form victory for students with caring responsibilities

Following campaigning from Holly Waddell (NUSU Student Parents, Guardians and Carers Officer), The Courier reports that the University has decided to support PEC form submissions for dependents of student parents, guardians and carers.
