What's the Difference Transition Campaign

Transitioning to University

Say hello to "What's the Difference" - our new campaign aimed to assist students in their transition to University.

You can find the full campaign portfolio of resources prepared so far here:

This campaign aims to make students aware of the challenges they may come across as they transition from school/sixth form through to University. The campaign will begin with a simple document that covers everything from learning environment to living in a new city, and slowly progress to encompass other elements such as video resources from current students in higher years.

We are currently working on bespoke versions to assist a wider range of student demographics - including postgraduate students - so be sure to stay tuned!

Keep an eye out online, in the courier, and at ncl.ac.uk/ask for more about the campaign.

If you have any questions, comments, or feedback (both about the campaign and your own experiences of transitioning into University), please contact the Education Officer at education.union@ncl.ac.uk
