We shall be going to Durham to see the light displays for Durham Lumiere's 10 year anniversary! This is a fantastic opportunity to see the wonderful city of Durham in a very different way. The event turns Durham into an interactive light exhibition and is great to test your night photography skills We will be outside the SU at 16:45 on 16/11. In this talk, Michael will be teaching us how to get professional portraits. This will involve how to work with models, professional tips on how to build a portfolio, different kinds of portraiture, planning a shoot and more tips!!!

During this talk, our very own treasurer, Xuan, will be teaching us how to frame our landscape shots better, the rules of composition and how to make our landscape pictures look professional!
This is one of the most important sessions, we highly recommend attending this one!
A mini-photowalk afterward in the city centre to practice the new skills we will learn!
Taster sessions will be held on the 5th and 6th of October from 1pm in front of the Student's union!
We will be doing a photowalk to some interesting locations around newcastle and will be joining together in a cafe to get to know each other better!
