The SAC offers help and advice about the PEC and Appeals processes, and we encourage students to book an appointment with us if they want to explore these options. 

Newcastle University has chaplains from different faith communities who can provide confidential, emotional support. Students DO NOT have to belong to a particular/any religion to contact our chaplains, they are there to help all students. The Newcastle University Counselling Team provide counselling for students who may be struggling with life concerns which cause unmanageable emotional or psychological distress.

The NHS also has self-help leaflets on a wide range of issues.

The SAC offers appointments and drop-ins for personal issues and stock lots of information for lots of organisations, including the NHS, Samaritans, MIND etc., which are of use to students, too. Just come by to grab some information.
