Applications are now being accepted for scholarships to attend the 2020 British Conference of Undergraduate Research (BCUR). This is a 2-day conference for undergraduates from ANY discipline to present any research they have undertaken such as summer projects, dissertations and even essays. These can be presented in the form of papers, posters, workshops and performances. Postgraduate students can also apply to present undergraduate research as long as it was completed no more than a year ago.

The scholarships offer funding including travel, accommodation and conference costs for students to present their own work at BCUR, taking place at the University of Leeds on 6th and 7th April 2020. Scholarships are also available for the prestigious ‘Posters in Parliament’ aspect of the conference (date tbc).

The deadline for sending your 250 word abstract is 19 November 2019, and scholarship winners will be notified at the end of Semester 1. Apply here: https://research.ncl.ac.uk/bcur/applynow2020/

More information can be found here: research.ncl.ac.uk/bcur or alternatively, send us an e-mail at thebcur@newcastle.ac.uk.
