Who am I?
I'm a third year BA history student. I was a course rep before becoming school rep. I am also the treasurer of the Gilbert and Sullivan Society and have a real enthusiasm for music and the arts.
What is my role?
I work with the other school reps within the faculty of HASS to make sure that student voices are heard and that there is a clear link between students, NUSU and the staff. Working closely with course reps and the staff in my school is key in finding and solving issues within HCA and therefore key to the role.
What do I want to achieve?
This year more than ever I hope to represent students in History, Classics and Archaeology and make sure that our grievances are heard. It is crucial that the communication between staff and students are effective and clear. I want to make sure that the decolonising of the curriculum continues with the input of students to make the school and its content the best it can be.
