NUSU Student Submission

Representation

Between 18-21 April 2016 the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) came and reviewed the University’s academic standards. As a quick recap, the purpose of the review, known as the Higher Education Review (HER), was to ensure that the University manages their responsibilities for the standards and quality of the education they provide to all of us, and make sure that the University:

  • Maintains UK-agreed academic standards for its higher education awards
  • Provides opportunities which allows students to achieve those higher education awards and qualifications
  • Provides accessible, trustworthy and accurate information for the general public, prospective students, current students and graduates
  • Plans effectively to constantly improve of its higher education provision.

During the process, not only did the review team look at the University's self evaluation document, but they also went through our Student Submission
