Person Specification

We are particularly keen for students with the following experience, skills and personal traits to apply to become a School Rep: 

  • Leadership skills
  • Communication skills
  • The ability to work in a team
  • Organisational skills
  • Negotiation skills

Applications to be a School Rep are encouraged from all students. However, we would particularly keen to receive applications from students who have experience in a representative role such as a Course Rep or Student Chair.

How to apply

  1. Check that the position you are eligible to apply for is available.
  2. Complete the short application form by 9am (UK time) on 28 April 2020.
  3. If shortlisted, we will contact you to invite you to take part in a telephone interview between 30 April and 5 May 2020.
  4. If selected you will be invited to training on 13 May, and 5 June. Do not worry if you cannot attend on these dates. The session will be repeated in the summer and at the start of the academic year.

 If you are studying in London, Malaysia or Singapore, we will arrange alternative training.
