Feminist Society is a group of people who discuss the past, present and future possibilities of the Feminist movement.
We have various activities that are based around this theme, such as guest speakers, craftivism, discussions on different topics about and to do with feminism, protests and educational presentations. We are an intersectional, trans-inclusive, anti-racist, body-positive society.
Feminist Society typically meets once a week on a Wednesday, if we have other meetings they are typically on the following Thursday. We usually try to meet on campus for talks and discussions but sometimes we may go on trips to other University campuses and venues in the city centre. We usually meet on an afternoon or an evening, when the majority of students are free. There are no pre-requisites to join the society.
