Representation at the Students' Union

NUSU wants every part of the student community to be represented and have their voice heard. That’s why we hold yearly elections to find a dedicated team of student officers, including a representative for the International student body. If you encounter an issue related to being an International student, need advice or just want to talk to a friendly face, you can contact NUSU’s International Officer.

Reporting Services

NUSU has a zero-tolerance policy with regard to harassment, discrimination and hate crime. If you’ve experienced harassment because of who you are, or witnessed an incident on campus, we want to know. Head to our to our Report and Support page for information on how to report and get support.

Financial Support

The Student Financial Support Team may be able to provide discretionary funding to assist international students who are experiencing unexpected financial difficulties and who struggle to cover their living costs as well as providing additional information. Want face-to-face financial advice? You can also book an appointment with one of our friendly advisors at the Student Advice Centre, right here in the Students’ Union.
