Live Theatre, Live Tales - Volunteer Illustrator

This opportunity takes place between 01 Oct 2019 and 30 Apr 2020. Applications closed on 13 Oct.

Live Tales allows teachers and children to explore creative writing from a new perspective. Through a mixture of drama and writing activities, the class collaborates to create a completely original story. Each child continues the story individually and receives an illustrated storybook to complete at school. • Create two illustrations, that correlate to the story being created by the class. • Create a booklet for the class to take away at the end of the session (using a photocopier and following an InDesign template). • Supporting the main facilitator in their delivery of the workshop. • Setting up and tidying the room ready for a class. • Contributing to volunteer briefings and debriefings (30minutes before and after each session).
