This opportunity is ongoing, with no end date.

Useful Vision is a registered charity providing fun activities for blind or partially sighted children around the North East to help them get the most out of life. We do this by organising free, imaginative family events and skills development sessions for visually impaired children. The Activity Volunteer will work alongside the Even Coordinators, to ensure that Useful Vision activities and skills workshops run smoothly and that vision impaired children and their families have an enjoyable experience. Useful Vision organises activities and events for vision impaired children and their families, some of the children have multiple disabilities and need one to one support to take part. This could be cooking, arts and crafts or farm and theatre visits. The activity volunteer will help with any administrative tasks on the day and socialise with the families.
