  • Let’s Ride Pop-up Volunteer

This opportunity is ongoing, with no end date.

British Cycling is the national governing body for cycling as recognised by the international federation for the sport. British Cycling works across all levels and six disciplines of the sport and to represent cyclists’ interests at all levels, including campaigning on important issues including road safety. Let’s Ride Pop-Ups – which create a regular, fun and safe place for families to ride together - are a key part of British Cycling and HSBC UK’s vision to get two million more people cycling by 2020. In two years, the nation-wide events have seen over 10,000 people take part and have seen adults rediscover their love of riding and children enjoying a safe space to practice their skills. Volunteers help mark out the route around Exhibition Park with way markers, help registration of attendees, provide a point of contact during the event, check the route during the event and help gather in route markers and tidy up after the event.
