  • Community Support Volunteer

This opportunity is ongoing, with no end date.

The Social Inclusion Project was created to support young people with autism. We aim to get our members to identify their interests and find exciting activities in the community. We will support them to get out into the real world, develop life skills through following their passions and interests and making connections and friendships to go with them into adulthood. Your role will be to support young people with ASD to find and access new interests and activities in their own local area and to develop life skills to improve their quality of life for now and the future. Volunteers will work with young people to reduce social isolation, build on gifts and talents, try new experiences and guide them through some of the “tricky” bits of being a teen.
