Hello!

Check out our welcome video.

Welcome Village

New this year.

This year will be unlike any other, with the transformation of campus into the 'Welcome Village', taking Freshers' Week to a whole new level with on-site food trucks, bars, tipis, beach pits & event spaces. We hope you're as excited as we are! The Village will be opening its doors from 11 September. During Freshers' 21 (19-24 September) the Welcome Village will be transformed into a venue to host some of larger evening events and experiences.

Common FAQs

We will be answering all common questions here.

Throughout the whole of September, we will be inviting students back to campus to get involved with what we have going on. Our new Welcome Village will be used throughout September to welcome students with free activities and access. During Freshers' 21, the Welcome Village will play host to some of our leading events, nights, and activities in the Freshers' programme - to access these you must have bought a Week Pass.

To save the confusion about what is free, and what is part of Freshers' Week Pass price we have created two separate sites. Head to our free Welcome Events to see what's happening throughout September on campus, and head to our Official Freshers' 21 Site to see everything included in the price of your Freshers' Week Pass during 19th - 24th September.

If in doubt, all of our free Welcome events are in teal/yellow, and our Freshers' events are in purple/pink.

It's important to get yourself registered with the University ready for your studies to begin. You will be able to do this once you have received your email from the University over the coming weeks regarding s3p/your student login.

Once you have registered via S3P, a login account will be auto-generated for you so that you can log into the NUSU website (after which you can then sign up to events and join clubs/societies).

Please note: you will not be able to login anywhere with your account until 48 hours after completing your registration via the Student Self Service Portal (S3P). Once you have registered, we advise you keep checking back to see if your login is now live.

If after 48 hours your login does not work, feel free to contact us (stating your name & student number) by contacting a member of our Digital Team.
