Mission Nutrition is a great educational campaign running 5th – 9th November. Focussing on making sure you eat properly before and after exercise we have some great events and activities taking place throughout the week. Whether you play sports regularly or are more of a spontaneous exerciser, knowing what foods you need to look after your body and refuel it properly is key.
Ran by your AU Officer, Maggie Elstob, this week is packed with great events you won’t want to miss out on.
Events this week include:
- Breakfast food available between 8am -10am in the Sports Centre all week (excluding Wednesday).
- On Wednesday we will be moving the Breakfast food to Newcastle University Students’ Union so you can pick up something to eat on your way to lectures or practice. Breakfast food will be available from 8am – 10am.
- Want to grab a healthy dinner? Maggie will be handing out soup in a bag from her desk on the Activities floor throughout the week. Everything you need to make a great tasting and nutritional dinner supplied by Go Volunteer. Please note there is a limited supply of this product.
