Here at NUSU our Your Voice team boasts three different student representation schemes which aim to give our students a strong voice and an opportunity to make a positive impact on Student Experience at Newcastle University.
Working in partnership with Newcastle University we support over 1,200 Academic Reps. Your Academic Reps are here to represent your academic interests and work with the University staff to create positive change for our students. So whether you want to know who your Academic Reps are or how you can take up one of the different roles (School Rep, Course Rep, SSC Student Chair or Secretary), click on the ‘Academic Reps’ link below.
Our Community Reps represent your voice in their local area of Newcastle. Working alongside the City Council and local residents they aim to enrich the local community and increase student involvement in it. Hall Reps represent students in University Managed Halls of Residence. Regular meetings with accommodation services and NUSU allow the big issues affecting students in Halls to be discussed and a positive change to be achieved.
